I Am a New Member At Experience Project
We caught up with new member lpayne13 and asked a few fun questions. Get to know your new community member and don't forget to say Hello!
EP: Good afternoon and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. When you are 100 and looking back at your life, what do you want to be able to say?
lpayne13: Pleasure to be here. I was just thinking about that the other day. I want to be able to say that I saw and did as much as I could. Nothing was wasted, and I would take nothing back. I want to be able to say that I changed something, however small, and meant everything to the people who meant everything to me. I want to be able to talk about the beautiful places I've been, the heartbreak and the joy I've felt. I want to be able to say that I have felt true happiness, that I feel wise, but that I still know nothing. I want to remember the meditations, the reflections that I've been through. The trials by fire, and the healings I've undergone. There is a lot I want to be able to say.
EP: That was so interesting, I almost lost my place in the question deck. What activity have you always wanted to try, but haven't yet? Why?
lpayne13: Let me think about that one for a second. I've always wanted to be able to paint, or draw. But I've never been good enough, and I've never had formal training.
EP: I see. If you could meet any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?
lpayne13: Who wrote these questions. There are too many people I'd want to meet. If I was forced to pick one of the hundreds, it would probably be Elliott Smith, or Marcus Aurelius. There are many more that I can't even begin to name.
EP: Excellent. What compelling insights you've given us. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with lpayne13 . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
Until then, be sure to pay a visit to lpayne13's profile today and say Hello!
