Meet Calidaydreamer!

We caught up with new member CaliDaydreamer and asked a few fun questions. Get to know your new community member and don't forget to say Hello!

EP: Good evening and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. What activity have you always wanted to try, but haven't yet? Why?

CaliDaydreamer: Pleasure to be here. Always happy to answer that. Anyone who knows me would probably laugh, or be totally shocked, by this but I've always wanted to try mountain-climbing. I'm usually overly cautious and - okay - a coward (I'm intimidated by heights), but I simply love the idea of confronting any doubts and fears I might have. To me, climbing a mountain is a fantastic metaphor for life - you overcome odds, fight your own insecurities ... And, after working very hard, you reach your goals.

EP: Next question. If you had the chance where you could do anything you wanted, with money being no object, what would you do?

CaliDaydreamer: I'm amused. Wow. This is tough! There are so many things I'd love to experience. But if I have to narrow it down to one (sigh)... I would love to travel the world, live for long periods of time in many cities and countries, long enough to begin to understand the culture, the life and land, the language ... And I'd love to volunteer and help out while I was in each place.

EP: Wow. If you could meet any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?

CaliDaydreamer: This is like twenty questions. I've always struggled with this one whenever I've been asked, but now I have an answer. Unfortunately, I can't pick between the two; I've admired them both my entire life: Nelson Mandela and Jane Goodall. Admittedly, they have nothing to do with each other, but they're always been heroes to me.

EP: Excellent. What compelling insights you've given us. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with CaliDaydreamer . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
And your question isn't stupid at all.
Here's the answer:
Goodall is a UN Messenger of Peace (British), an environmentalist and animal welfare activist. She's best known for her work as an advocate of chimps.
