EP: Good evening and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. What is the best advice you have ever received? Who gave it to you?

greenhattedplumber: Pleasure to be here. Funny that you ask. Randy Pausch's lecture on Time Management (I watched it on YouTube, so you can look it up, too!). He mentions something very important. While the time you have is free for you to spend, it's important to manage your own time. Because while you're wasting time doing the things that you have to do, there's time lost that could have been spent with the people you love. For example, you normally spend 7 hours a day working on a project for work. The rest of that time you spend with your loved ones. If you practiced good time management, you'll only spend 5 hours a day producing the same amount of work on that project. That's two more hours a day, ten more hours a week (on a five day work week), and etc. That's huge. Besides, you ever remember putting off something that you had to do until later, only to have some special occasion come up during that time as well? I did. And it hurt to miss that occasion... My cousin wrote a play and it was performed in memory of my uncle. This was in L.A., and going down there and back would have taken too much time for me to complete this part of a group project I was working. So, the lesson is that get your work done early and efficiently. All that time you save is time is time that can be spent on things you care about more. ...and time is our only limited resource. =O So, go and love and experience and whatever! =D

EP: Really interesting. If you had the chance where you could do anything you wanted, with money being no object, what would you do?

greenhattedplumber: I sure hope people are enjoying this interview. I'd complete every single life goal I have.

EP: That was so interesting, I almost lost my place in the question deck. If you could meet any person in the world, dead or alive, who would it be?

greenhattedplumber: Always happy to answer that. When I think of who would be a person qualified to meet, I initially thought "why, one of my heroes". But... you know, those people that I consider to by my heroes have already become my heroes. Meeting them would only simply be a delightful encounter. So, what I could say is that I would like to meet someone I don't already know, yet: My future greatest hero. ...but, even then, I don't really desire it as much as one other person. This choice seems to be typical, but I don't care. This is what I want, and it's with great intensity that I choose to meet 'her'. I mean, the "girl of my dreams" (see, I told you). ...just like so many others, this is what I want. *sigh* I need to work on my shyness...

EP: Well put! I couldn't have said it better myself. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with greenhattedplumber . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
