Meet Cdeanoh!

We caught up with new member cdeanoh and asked a few fun questions. Get to know your new community member and don't forget to say Hello!

EP: Good evening and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. If you had the chance where you could do anything you wanted, with money being no object, what would you do?

cdeanoh: Pleasure to be here. A bit random, but OK. Travel - preferably to China. I been fascinated with their culture and have wanted to go there as long as I can remember. Other than that I would like to write books. I have lots of ideas but never seem to have the time or desire to follow through on them.

EP: Readers, I hope you have your notebooks out. If you could change one thing about your life, what would you change?

cdeanoh: This is like twenty questions. I hate this question!

EP: That was so interesting, I almost lost my place in the question deck. What is the best advice you have ever received? Who gave it to you?

cdeanoh: I was just thinking about that the other day. Jack Palance in City Slickers tells Billy Crystal that the answer is "one" or something like that. Choose one thing and do it well. It's really all you have time for. This is heavily paraphrased, altered by time and faulty memory, and influenced by my own take on the quote, but it has stuck with me ever since seeing the movie. Especially as I'm getting older it's making more sense all the time. Another one was given to me when I was feeling especially melancholy. I expressed the thought that it's lonely at the top - meaning that I had sort of gotten where I wanted to be in life and that accomplishment was sort of a "peak experience." Reaching it though had left me with that mood and thought. The response was very simple and delivered in a clear and commanding tone - "So, get down!"

EP: Excellent. What compelling insights you've given us. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with cdeanoh . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
