EP: Good afternoon and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. What is the best advice you have ever received? Who gave it to you?

Blackey: Pleasure to be here. Interesting. Never be ashamed of who you are, where you came from, or where you are going. Always try to do your best and hold your head up high and be proud. My foster dad used to tell me this all the time.

EP: A well thought out response. When you are 100 and looking back at your life, what do you want to be able to say?

Blackey: Tough one. That I lived my life honestly, loved deeply, cared fully, and left nothing for reserve.

EP: Alright, thanks for that.. If you could change one thing about your life, what would you change?

Blackey: I was just thinking about that the other day. I would not change the experiences, good or bad, because they have made me who I am today...but I would go back and change some of my responses and reactions to circumstances and situations, words that were spoken, deeds that were done...there are things I wish I had handled differently.

EP: Excellent. What compelling insights you've given us. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with Blackey . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
