Meet Linelijen!

We caught up with new member linelijen and asked a few fun questions. Get to know your new community member and don't forget to say Hello!

EP: Good morning and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. What is the best advice you have ever received? Who gave it to you?

linelijen: Pleasure to be here. Great question. To follow after peace - When you have questions about what direction to go in life or even smaller situations, pray. I've come to learn that when I do that, I eventually feel "why am I still praying about this? I know what I need to do". It doesn't always happen that way, but it makes me feel more confident about decisions I make in life.
My dad told me that - he has so much wisdom so I always go to him for advice - "FOLLOW AFTER PEACE" - That really stuck with me.

EP: Moving right along. If you had the chance where you could do anything you wanted, with money being no object, what would you do?

linelijen: Always happy to answer that. This is tough if I have to choose just one thing but the question doesn't indicate that so here are a couple: I would get my family set with new houses and cars and out of debt. When my brother was about 17 he said "One day our cars will represent how rich we are inside." (Growing up, all of our cars were "clunkers" with chipped paint, always breaking down, making noises.) But what my brother was saying is that everything in our life that was non-materialistic was so rich and wonderful and one day we would have everything else we desired.

Other than that I'd like for everyone in my family to be able to live in their passions-
For me, I would love to produce and record music. To have the words that I've written out there for all of the world to hear - I think it's one of my gifts and I feel that I haven't used it to it's highest potential as of yet.
My dad and mom - I house right on the beach with a boat and as many books as they wanted (theological/nutrional). :)
My brother - His own hair studio/salon. He's a hairstylist.
My sister - Well, she wants to be a stay at home mom...really all her life that's what she's wanted..So I'll just make sure that happens. ;)
My brother-in-law - His own fitness studio. He's a personal trainer.

Lastly, I would get Dallas Cowboys season tickets - and tickets to the Super Bowl.

EP: You are a bit mysterious, aren't you. If you could change one thing about your life, what would you change?

linelijen: That's kind of odd, but alright. I don't know for sure that I would change this because I guess this is God's plan for me right now, but I believe I would be happy if that guy I'm supposed to be with would hurry up and find me. ;) I'm really happy but I can only assume he would make life even better. ;)

EP: Very well. It's been a real treat to chat with you today. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with linelijen . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
