Meet Lexis67!

We caught up with new member lexis67 and asked a few fun questions. Get to know your new community member and don't forget to say Hello!

EP: Good afternoon and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. What activity have you always wanted to try, but haven't yet? Why?

lexis67: Pleasure to be here. I sure hope people are enjoying this interview. Travel to Italy, but that's probably out now because I'm wheelchair bound and have APS a terminal life threatening illness. I also want to write a book, working on it, poetry and art are my hobbies and I plan to do this at some point hopefully befofore I die.

EP: Thanks for sharing that. If you had the chance where you could do anything you wanted, with money being no object, what would you do?

lexis67: Tough one. Find a way to give people with disabilities and illnesses the money they need to get the things they need. Disability in the US equals poverty, I just think this is wrong. I am a living human being as are others with disabilities and I think we all deserve the same respect as those without a "known" disability. I'd also find a cure for Antiphospolipid Antibody Syndrome, which I have.

EP: Next question. If you could change one thing about your life, what would you change?

lexis67: Let me think about that one for a second. I'd be walking for sure, driving, going to the woods on a daily basis and probably would have gotten my PHd and been a professor by now had I not gotten so sick that I couldn't finish school. Got my 4 year degree with honors but I always wanted to teach. Still do, and do teach in a way.

EP: Excellent. What compelling insights you've given us. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with lexis67 . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
