EP: Good evening and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. When you are 100 and looking back at your life, what do you want to be able to say?
gaspj072: Pleasure to be here. Glad you brought that up. When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, "I used everything you gave me. I want to say that i had enough sun to keep my attitude bright. I had enough rain to appreciate the sun more. I had enough happiness to keep my spirit alive. I had enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. I had enough gain to satisfy my wanting. I had enough loss to appreciate all that i possessed. I had enough "Hello's" to get me through the final "Goodbye". As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will. You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken. You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new love for things an old one did. You'll crybecause time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love. I want to have taken too many pictures, laughed too much, and loveed like you've never been hurt because every sixty seconds i spend upset is a minute of happiness i'll never get back.
EP: Really interesting. If you could change one thing about your life, what would you change?
gaspj072: Let me think about that one for a second. I would like to say that i would change a lot of things but i can't. Sure i have been through more hell than anyone should go through. I had innocence taken from me before i knew what it was. I have been let down by people who should have always been there and never hurt me. I know that some people if that had gone through all that i have would not have made it. I survived sexual abuse from my uncle, a drug addict of a mother who has been in and out of jail my whole life, had my heart broken by my first best friend and true love. I have been through so much more than that also, but i wouldn't change any of it because each experience made me stronger and had an effect on who i am today. So i would not change anything for if i would i would not be who i am today.
EP: Ah, of course. It's quite a unique way you have of looking at things. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with gaspj072 . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
