EP: Good evening and welcome. Wonderful to have you join us. Let's get started right away. If you could change one thing about your life, what would you change?

edgarner51: Pleasure to be here. I sure hope people are enjoying this interview. If I could change one thing, it would be my marital relationship with my wife of 35 years. We've raised 4 children whom are all doing very well and on their own as adults. However, it seems to me that any intimacy we had has somehow degraded into a more of a sibling type relationship. I am having serious doubts about the necessity of monogomy in this relationship. Specifically, if is necessary and even the right thing to do. I have been turned down and even told she " no longer wanted to have sex with me on multiple occasions" This actually has occurred repeatedly. I don't even try anymore, knowing it will be futile. We tried going to psychologist for a while, but that was absolutely fruitless and we were eventually told she could no longer help us. I feel like I have done the defense mechanism of disassociation for her emotionally. I'm ready to do anything to help this relationship, but it seem it is never the right thing and usually ends in an argument. I want to have sex and have no outlet! I think I obsess about this too much and at my age, i shouldn't care so much. That doesn't seem to help the situation.

EP: I see. What activity have you always wanted to try, but haven't yet? Why?

edgarner51: I was just thinking about that the other day. Living without concern of my wife's lack of libido. And, maybe, a long seafaring trip. I actually have been on a couple of trips, but I would like to go  for maybe a month or two. It would have to be with the right people and could be interesting.

EP: Moving right along. What is the best advice you have ever received? Who gave it to you?

edgarner51: Great question. Follow your own path and try to be happy. Plan what you want to do for life early and pursue with passion and persistence.

EP: Excellent. What compelling insights you've given us. Well, that concludes our up close and personal interview with edgarner51 . Stay tuned readers, for our next New Member Interview.
