My Poor Wife

my wife comes from the school of "so long as it passes the 5 foot test", whereas I need to know it's done right.  If it isn't right from the start it just bugs me until i just end up fixing it anyway.  She's never understood why it takes me so long to buy furniture but it's because I'm looking for perfect craftsmanship.  You will not find me in that Swedish shop.

    Dude...I am a perfectionist too and sometimes it gets me in trouble. I beat myself up if I don't get things done the way that I want it to be. Then people fuss at me, lovingly though. It's a vicious cycle. A friend actually told me that she thought that I was addicted to perfection. Wow...

    Ok I do go to that swedish shop.. but NOT for furniture. I completely agree with you on the craftsmanship thing. Most stuff today is complete shite.



    I do my own work around the house as its never good enough if someone else does it... hence, there's alot to do around here...WTF am I doing on here? I gotta go do some of this stuff!
