I Was a Pyschology Major!

I graduated with a degree in Psychology.  I have been able to get decent paying jobs with this degree.  I think that just finishing a college degree is the biggest part of getting a decent paying job.  But if you really want to work in the field of psychology, gettining an undergraduate degree in psych may not be the best way to start.  I wish I would have gotten a degree in something else, and then gotten a masters in Psych later.  Psych stacks on top of almost anything really well.  I am going to start on my Masters in 2009.  I haven't had the opportunity until now.  I am really excited about this, because I have not had a job in the field, you can't do any counselling with a BA or BS in Psych.  I've done quality management, financial analysis, accounts receivable, activities director at a retirement home, and now warranty literature!  Can't wait to go back to school so that I can finally grow up and become what I thought I would when I was a kid!
