    Referencing or citing didn't seem important when I studied for my first degree, this changed dramatically when I completed my Master's. Every quote had to be referenced, difficult not to be a "quote junkie".

    Can however recommend "The Oxford Book of Quatations" fascinating to browse through.

      I studied with the Open University for my BA(Hons); they were very hot on referencing. I did get a ticking off for missing only one reference in a particular piece of work.
