Rebel, Rebel

I question authoriity. I bend and break rules if I find them unjust. I do not follow society's lead. I do my own thing and act on what my heart and mind tells me is the best thing to do. But at the same time, I refuse to become a laughingstock by doing something dumb to prove my point.

I refuse to protest, because this isn't the 1960's- protesting doesn't achieve much anymore. I won't spray fur coats with red paint, I won't lie down in front of army tanks or chain myself to trees. That kind of thing is noble in it's own way, and generates attention that needs to be brought to such issues, but I feel it brings the wrong kind of attention, and the act itself actually does very little to portray your party or organization as a group to be taken seriously.
