You know what I did? I did reverse-physcology with my body. At first when I cut, I started scratching again, slowly stopping the cutting. Then after I slowly started to stop scratching, I started snapping a rubber band on my wrist. And now I've stopped completely. I'm not saying I don't still have urges and break-downs turning to the alternative....but it helped somewhat. It's an emotional ride, to stop self-harming...but it's a great one at that.

:( I can honestly say that I know where you are coming from with the whole scratching bit. Half the time I don't even realize that I am doing it until the underside of my left wrist is red and raw. And to be honest, the times I most find myself doing it is at school...yet no one ever seems to notice.

But yeah....although our thoughts may be different, our actions are the same.

....I guess that was my screwed up way of saying that you are not alone?

    ...maybe??? o-O

Try to put something over them to prevent you from scratching them...Also cutt your nails. If you continue to do this the dirt in your nails (nails are always super dirty its one of the places were all the germs are hidden) will infect your cutt and well it can get super bad, and by that i mean it can get to the point where they have to cutt your arm off...Umm everytime you want to scratch yourself look for a distraction, call someone or eat or anything. Also you need to find out whats the problem and why your doing this in the first place so that you can stop. Find a way to make yourself happy, for example everytime im depressed i take long walks or go to a park with my ipod and sing and cry my heart out. It feels nice because you dont feel lonley since theres nature all around you [: I wish you the best of luck
