An Eagle swooped down and in an instant, young Firah’s heart was snatched away. She offered it freely, beating louder than the familiar sound of her deepest fears, snatched away in a flurry of feathers. The beauty and power from within the great eagle numbed Firah. There was no pain as his talons located her precious soul and gently lifted it from the hidden room of her body – protecting it all along. Higher he soared, beyond the stars till she saw him no more.
And so the quest to claim what she freely gave away, the heart and soul that were locked away from a lifetime of choices - some that she made and others that were made for her.
