I Buy Too Much For Others!

That is my worst habit!
If i have money in the bank or in purse etc i have to spend it!

I used to spend every last penny on myself n i was never happy even though i was wearing beautiful clothes n pretty shoes my family were not!

So now i have started to buy for my family! which is very big - i have 4 nieces, 5 nephews n a great nephew so i often find myself walking into the baby sections picking out pretty clothes or just standing in a shop thinking would such n such like this! yes ill buy it! even if they didnt need it!

I have got in so much debt recently n had to get a loan out to pay off my overdraft as i was earning less than what the overdraft was up to!!

But i have only just been hooked into ebay! n my god its costing me a fortune which i dont own!!!
Yeah its fair enough bidding for things you want etc but i keep forgetting i have to pay pretty fast after i won it to get it!!!
ooops i am naughty i know!

Hi, There are several comments under this topic about shopping. If you go through all the screens, I believe there is a disproportionate number of comments about it, than about the other subjects!

Shopping is a recreation of sorts to many people. We have SOO many options. I am afraid that the option to save money for a possible disaster, is rarely used.

I walk into someone's house and immediately see what is important to them.

Usually there is clutter made by little figurines or pictures, emotional sayings on various platters and in fr<x>ames, sports memorabilia, and so on.

In some homes, the diningroom table is always set in the finest linens and tableware that the family owns. This makes it difficult to sit at the table and conduct conversation or lay something out to look at. I hate to see the cat walking over this table!

I have asked friends how much of the clothing and shoes in their closets is actually used. They laugh and get a thoughtful look as they confess. One friend uses about four outfits but the walk-in closet is stuffed!

Another friend had a shopping bug bite him and it produced what I call a liquer fetish. BECAUSE of this fetish, he built a cupboard 10 feet long by 4 feet high by 2 feet deep. This space could be used for things that are ACTUALLY USED in his home. INSTEAD, many things are laying on the floor in corners.

The spiders and ants dearly love him for the debris laying on the floor and in corners.

I hope he is not bitten by anything more than the liquer fetish bug!!
