Being southern, and being a "cowgirl" are two, totally different things,
Most girls dress like the stereotypical stuff, cowboy boots, hats, plaid, and ripped jeans. But that's not how any of that works here.

There are things that you do here, and most of it starts by saying "yes ma'am, no ma'am, yes sir, no sir,
And please and thank you."

You never disrespect your elders, and strangers here won't think twice about scolding you if you do something.

Everyone here knows each other.

You hear "with all due respect"
"Well bless your heart" "what in tarnation"
"I'm Fixin' to" "2 hoots and a holler"
And "well I'll be" quite often here.

LA is very different
