Quote From The Logo

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed downfor many generations. But after observation and anylysis, when you find anything that agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

Thanks K, I have carried that around with me since the '60's, when I was exploring that particular belief system. It's always reminded me to keep my thoughts "fair and balanced" as Fox News says....<br />
You know, it was not the "founders" of any of these religious systems who created the dogma which makes them, for me, irrelevent, but their followers who became politically motivated... I think...<br />
Although, if you live your life ba<x>sed in other's dogma, it sure becomes easier. And easier to become intellectually stupid... or lazy...
