Can't Avoid Stereotyping...

I don't think it's necessarily always a bad thing. I am stereotypical in many ways, and not stereotypical in others. I'm not a stereotypical Christian, animal lover, music fan, American or, more specifically, Idahoan; even though I am all these things, there are aspects of each that set me fairly far apart from the norm of all those groups. However... I am not "not a stereotypical anything". I'm definitely a stereotypical woman, white middle-class girl, artist, internet junkie... I fall into many stereotypes. I really don't think anyone can honestly say there is no stereotype that fits them. There has to be something into which they can be neatly categorized. And this isn't always a bad thing; it's just how the human mind works, it's how we organize and it helps us be able to remember people by categorizing them.

Stereotypes are dumb. The people who judge you are only jealous because you have something that they dont. Don't believe anyone if they judge or stereotype you. They're wrong. Whether you're 'emo' a 'jock' and 'art freak' or any other typical, widely used or not-so-widely used group don't let other people opinions influence who you are. :)

I don't think stereotypes are ALWAYS bad, either. I hate it when I use a stereotype and everyone jumps all over me for it.
