Living One Handed.

I am 30 years old and survived a stroke nov 19,2012. Almost every thing is ok now besides left facial numbness and no sensation in my left hand still waiting for that to return don't know if it ever will. I'm open to any suggestions it's very frustrating living with one hand.the only thing my left hand will tell me is very hot or very cold but I can't tell the difference between the two. And my wife noticed that I get irritated very easily now and am. Moody don't know if that is from the stroke also

Hello, sorry to hear you have had to go through this...my husband had a stroke this past November he just turned 45 this month and he has been diagnosed with a severe case of Thalamic Pain Syndrome also known as central poststroke pain (CPSP) syndrome an effect left by the stroke he suffered back in November. Looking for support and advise on what has worked and helped through your experience. ~Thank You~

I also had a stroke 3months ago im 26 -and ive been real moody as well some days

I have th esame exact effects from my stroke except my right side was effected. I know that I got kind of depressed when I first had my stroke. I had my stroke when I was 21 and I am 24 now. Check out my story. The hand might come back. My mom has me doing yoga and she also mentioned accupuncture.
