Can't Afford Not To Be

I'm the only girl in my house, and I have to be strong for me. I don't have much of a choice. I can't let myself be swept away. Living in a house of guys, I'm expected to be just as strong as they are, if not physically, at least mentally. And I've always been independent. My mom wouldn't let me be but she's gone now so I can be whatever I damn well please. I don't want to have depend on anyone. It's not my style. I would rather people lean on me.
