Describe your first day of school. My first day as a "real" teacher was surreal. I remember walking my first class to lunch and feeling so proud that I had successfully made it through the morning. Honestly, every other part of that day is a blur. I wish I had taken my professor's advice about keeping a journal from the first day on. I love my students, and I wish I could remember my first impressions.  

What is your most memorable experience so far? One was the day after my first sick day. I hadn't felt like I was really connecting with many of my students, but when I came back after being gone for a day, my desk was absolutely covered in Get Well Soon cards. I think almost every single student hugged me that morning and told me that they had missed me. My kids are amazing and they still never cease to surprise me.
