My Babies

I'm 19 now (almost twenty) and I have been pregnant three times all by the same guy who is now my fiancee. We lost a little boy shortly after I turned 17 because he had a massive heart defect. That was my Terra. We buried him in secret and it took us up until recently to tell anyone about him or where he was laid to rest.

Then came Sora. She was our only planned child. I was devastated after the loss of Terra and so I stopped taking my birth control pills for one month until we decided maybe it wasn't the right time but our daughter was already growing! The father has always been supportive and my pregnancy was great. I was pampered and ended up gaining 45 lbs! I had no complications until the very end when all of a sudden my blood pressure skyrocketed and even though I felt fine they rushed me to the hospital. They watched me for 2 days while they had me on magnesium sulfate for my BP. They couldn't induce me b.c magnesium sulfate is used to stop labor so Pitocin wouldn't have any effect. She was born by cesarean at 11:52 am on Nov 9, 2008. She's now 20 months old and the light of my life! I'm so happy we have her and even with her I've managed to maintain a 4.0 GPA at my University. I work to give her the best future I can!

A few months ago I found out I was pregnant again...another heart defect. We found out then that it's carried on the father's Y chromosome so all boys will inherit it. We were devastated. We lost him as well when I was 23 wks and 5 days. I love my daughter but I hate to know that I'll never carry a son to term. I'll never be able to give my fiancee a son of his own... So far in my teen years I've read a positive test three times (well, four, I did the one for my daughter twice to be sure lol) and have had to bury two little boys. So much for teenage carelessness.
