It Gets Better, I Promise

I think we all know what truly having a bad day means now. The day you have to tell your family you're pregnant. The day nasty girls at school call you a *****. The day your newborn is crying and you can't figure out why. The day your toddler is running a fever that won't go down and you feel like the world's worst mom for not knowing how to fix it. The day some old woman makes a comment about how shameful it is to be a teen mom. The day where you have to choose your child over something else and everything goes to hell in a hand basket.

But, from my own personal experience, just know that these things will pass. There really are brighter days ahead. Being a teen mom is unbelievably hard, and compared to a lot of you, I have had it easy. Kate, I haven't met you, but you literally sound like a super hero. Teenmomsouth, I'm so sorry for your loss but I know you're trying to stay strong for the child you already have. Alissa, you did the right thing staying with your son so don't let some jerk bring you down. Sand, you're incredible helping raise your boyfriend's child despite them having down syndrome. Inmyheartforever, you're a fantastic mom who has already accomplished so much and just know your son's father is looking down at you and is proud of you. ALL of you teen moms are amazingly strong, and eventually things will brighten up.

I promise.

Lots of Love
