I am thirteen too. I wish I at least knew any lesbians besides a freshmen in highschool. We were friends before we knew we were both lesbians so it would be kind of wierd to go out with my best friend.

  Yeah you do stupid **** at any age, this is true. But when you're 16, well more like 25 lol but when you're 16, you're more mature and probably more able to handle the conflicts that arise in relationships. but you're right, if she wants a girlfriend, she's entitled to have one... *hits pipe* I need to chill.

  I know my opinion doesn't matter atm, but I think whatever age you think you're ready for a bf/gf doesn't matter how serious it is, it's always if it's right for you. I wouldn't really know much since I've never been in a good relationship and that my last was about 4 years ago.. But whenever she feels like she's ready, she should go for it .

  I don't think there's anything wrong with a couple of 13 year old girls wanting to be girlfriends. No body would be batting an eye here if they were a boy and girl.
  The thinking in your statement presupposes that they will find themselves in a heavier situation than you believe their age can manage.
  All she said is "I'm 13 and I wish I had a girlfriend..." It seems very pure to me.
