Never Used To...

It's embarrassing but I've developed a habit over the 14 months or so. Sometimes I'll wake up with my thumb in my mouth. Sometimes when I'm alone or bored I'll notice my thumb drifting towards my mouth too. I don't know what's going on. I do have an ABDL side but this is just weird. I'd say I'm regressing but honestly, even when I was very young i didn't do this. I'd kind of like to stop. I have started using a retainer when I sleep normally which helps, but it still doesn't seem to stop me from trying. I also have a habit of covering my mouth when I'm talking sometimes so maybe it's related?

I've done it for the past few years (since the middle of sixth grade and now I'm going into ninth) so don't feel bad, it's just comforting. I never did it as a kid either, but I did use a sippy cup till first grade so I guess it kind of relates. Don't worry about it, there's a lot worse things you could do in your life.

It's not the worst thing in the world. It's kinda cute to regress from stress in this way. Don't beat yourself up over it. Tell your stories on EP to help unload the stress, too. It's all good, and part of the human experience!

That's not that uncommon. My nieces husband sleeps like that. I never say anything about it. It is what it is. Everybody has there own peculiarities when they sleep.
You cover your mouth when you talk to people because your afraid other people will see how you feel. They can't but that's the way you feel. Your covering up your feelings
