my boyfriend's graduation is also Dec. 31 ! bur we getting out there Wednesday b/c yu have to be @ the base early that morning ! & I got his address & I write to him every single night ! but be lucky I haven't got a letter nor a phone call ! & I keep my phone on vibrate @ work & I told them if I feel my phone vibrate I HAVE to answer it & they all understand ! but I makes me mad that yu got a letter & a phone call already & I didn't get anything yet ! but I'm keep my faith up & being patient ! & maybe we'll see each other for graduation :) let me know !

HEY MY HUSBAND OF EIGHT MONTHS LEFT FOR AF BMT ON NOV. 2 2010. HE IS AT LACKLAND. WE HAVE A 5 MONTH OLD SON AND I MISS HIM TERRIBLY. I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT U ARE GOING THROUGH. SO FAR, I HAVE RECEIVED A POST CARD FROM HIM WITH HIS ADDRESS ON IT AND I HAVE WROTE HIM A LETTER A DAY EVERY SINCE. I'VE ALSO RECEIVED A SHORT LETTER FROM HIM. IT WAS ONLY A PARAGRAPH LONG AND HE SAID HE WAS SNEAKING IN THE DARK TO WRITE IT TO ME. HE SAID THAT PEOPLE GET LETTERS EVERYDAY SO PLEASE WRITE YOUR BOYFRIEND WHEN U GET HIS ADDRESS. I FEEL SO BAD THOUGH. YESTERDAY HE CALLED ME TWICE BUT I MISSED HIS CALLS, I WAS AT WORK. MY PHONE WAS ON SILENT AND I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT HAPPEND. I USUALLY KEEP IT ON VIBRATE AT WORK SO I WOULD NOT MISS A CALL FROM HIM. I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AND I CRIED AND CRIED OVER THAT. OH I FELT SO BAD. HE LEFT A VM THOUGH SO IT WAS NICE HEARING HIS VOICE. PLEASE HAVE YOUR CELL PHONE NEXT TO YOU AT ALL TIMES DURING THE WEEKENDS, BECAUSE THIS IS THE DAYS THEY ARE LIKELY TO CALL. TRUST ME, YOU DO NOT WANT TO HAVE THAT FEELING OF MISSING HIS PHONE CALLS. IT'S A TERRIBLE FEELING. MY EMAIL IS A_GREEN15@YAHOO.COM. PLEASE WRITE TO HIM BECAUSE THEY LOVE TO GET LETTERS. Hey my boyfriend got to lackland on monday night.. i wonder if they could be in the ame flight?? mayb not since he's been gone for a week and i still haven't got an address yet. n it's totally killing me!! =(

I been writing him everyday since he left, so its going to be a thick mail. lol n I totally agree.. this whole week suck so bad n it still does. But i know we can make it. Stay strong!!

well lucky me , I got his address the next day he got out there ! & I wrote him like crazy , but I still haven't got a letter yet ! but I'm still waiting ! but I haven't talk to him the whole time & it kills me ! but I'm waiting for it ! I can't wait tile graduation ! have fun out there girl ! :)))

Yeah, we've ALL been there (: The first week or so is the most MISERABLE. Even though it feels like time is going by slowly, it's going to go by SO FAST. Only two more weeks until my airman graduates. It's amazing to look back and see how fast it all went. One thing you should know: it gets soooooo much better. I didn't get my airman's address until his THIRD week there when he finally got a phone call home. (The postcard with his address got lost in the mail) Never ever expect anything because some girls get only four letters throughout the whole two months and some get twenty. I've only gotten three phone calls so far. Stick in there and stay strong, I swear time's going to fly by and remember that this will only make you stronger (:

wow , I remember the first day when my boyfriend left ! I was miserable ! I left like my heart was just gonna stop like any second ! but I got thru it ! & I have a countdown on the two mirrors in my room & my mirror in my bathroom ! but that sounds alot better ! I am in the same boat as you. My boyfriend and I have been dating over three years, and he left this morning. We live together, and spend the majority of our time together. He is my best friend, and I am having a really hard time with it. One of my friends gave me some advice that she learned while her husband was over seas. She told me to make some sort of calender to keep track of the days. So I made an old school paper chain. You know like the ones we made back in elementary school? Well I made it with 56 loops, and each day I get to tear a loop off. Tomorrow will be my first one, but according to my friend, it feels great to rip off that paper and crumple it in your hands. It also gave me something to do today. I guess I am just going to try to keep myself as busy as possible. With Christmas right around the corner that shouldn't be a problem. Good luck to you!

I was pretty much in the same boat as you; many girls will tell you this, but only because it's true. I won't lie; it's very very hard the first week and half or so even more, but it will get better; just keep writing letters to him EVERYDAY whenever you feel like you want to communicate with him, put it in the letter. Trust me, graduation will come soon enough :)
