Skype, Whatsapp, And Reliance

Before my airman flew out to Korea we talked about all the ways we could communicate. Email was a given. Skype when possible. Phone calls to reliance. And WhatsApp.
Emails and Skype I'm sure all of you are familiar with.

Reliance is a phone service kinda like vonage. It's considerably cheaper though. So if your love manages to get a cellular device, I would highly recommend exploring reliance as a form of communication.

WhatsApp is an app which allows you to text overseas. The app costs a one-time charge of $1.99 I think and then you're all set. No charges by the message after that initial fee. The only thing about WhatsApp is that you need wifi to receive and send out messages. Considering most American bases which are not located in active war zones have wifi across base, this doesn't seem to be much of an issue.
