I just got the news that my airman's parents invited me to come to his graduation half way across the country with them...for free. Apparently he had been secretly working out the details even before he left to surprise me two weeks before his graduation. Gosh I love my boy.
Needless to say, I accepted the invitation immediately and already have my luggage sitting on my bedroom floor waiting to be packed.
Too excited not to share!
The only drawback is I have absolutely no idea what to expect from the graduation. Someone told me I probably won't be able to talk to him until the first two days of ceremony are completed, which could be a little rough, but I promised him I wouldn't run into the parade like a crazy lady trying to find him (we'll see how that one goes). Either way, i'm sure it'll be great.
He's so worried about getting recycled like the other two guys in his unit, so we're all just praying he doesn't accidentally make a mistake. At this point with so little time left to go, it's nerve wracking.

PS: On a shallow note, what on earth do I wear...? Sheesh.

That's awesome! I'm so happy for you! My boyfriend graduates from basic in 2 weeks and I have a few different outfits picked out so I'll share them with you and hopefully it'll help :P
On thursday, for the airman's run, I ordered the flight tshirt from the official air force sight, jeans, converse, and probably a jacket. On friday, for graduation, I have a navy blue dress with light blue polka dots, a white cardigan, and navy blue flats (so that I match him in his blues! And I want to look nice since it's a really important moment to them) On saturday, I'm going to wear skinny jeans, brown flats, and a white see through shirt with navy blue polka dots & a navy blue undershirt (again, to match him in his uniform). I haven't decided what for sunday but I'll probably make it pretty casual. Good luck!

Thank you so much! :) The matching idea is adorable, i'll for sure wear a navy blue dress haha. I hope the weeks go quickly and you have a wonderful time at his graduation!

Thanks! If you ever need to chat, feel free to shoot me a message!

I wouldn't worry so much about him being recycled. They all stress about it, but actually not that many people do. But be prepared to be a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I was so excited to see him, but he was so strict it was so strange to me. They're not allowed to show PDA, but my boyfriend took it a little too far because he was afraid a TI would pop out of the shadows. He wouldn't even put his arm around me in photos! It wasn't till we were in a car, at night, that I even got a kiss longer then a second. But he was so incredibly handsome in his blues, I'm sure you would think your boyfriend is as well. And it was a relief to see him. But everyone has a different story. Oh and it was freezing when I went, wore two jackets, ha so I don't know what to tell you there.
