I Am So Elated Right Now!!

MG!!!
I am so happy! I just got a wonderful near-30 minute phone call (26 minutes to be exact, lol) from my boyfriend!! It was the first call I've gotten since he had left for his duty overseas. It was so wonderful to hear his voice... 
I really ought to have asked him to call me a lot sooner... lol.
AND....
I found out that he's coming home soon! We all know that our military men can't tell us exact dates because of confidentiality reasons... but he was like, "Well, I'll be sure to keep in touch through e-mail, and I can assure you I'm coming home soon. And by soon, I mean SOON. ((emphasis on the soon!)) The next time you should get a phone call from me should be when I'm back in the States."
AHhhhhhhh!! This is the best feeling I've felt in quite some time! I tried so hard to hold back my complete excitement (but I was totally all giggly and smiling on the phone lol) and I totally stuttered when I picked up the phone lol... I almost dropped it too... I'm so glad I didn't. 
hehhehh... he told me about his experiences... and that he got to ride a camel! LOL that is sooo awesome!! 
.... I have this HUGE grin on my face right now... I so can't wait for my man to get home (soon!!) 
Yay!!!

 | Posted May 22nd, 2009 at 7:03PM Oh yes! Getting a phone call after what seems like 'forever' is amazing! And to think I (almost) forgot what his voice sounded like... haha. Now I'm totally wondering how 'soon' is 'soon' -- like... within a week? A couple of days? Tomorrow? (haha, yeah, I wish that tomorrow was the case lol) I'm so excited! Now I have to think about what to wear upon his homecoming... haha. Gotta find something cute. :) Oh, and should I give him back his hoodie when he comes home? lol. I mean, he left it with me, so it's rightfully mine now, right? ;) |
