Alaska

For those of you who don't know, Michael was stationed in Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, AK & yesterday was his first day there. He's bitched & moaned for the past 2 months since he's got his assignment about how much it's going to suck. Well this morning I got a phone call at 10:30 AM & in the words of my boyfriend, "You know, it's not that bad here." All I could do was laugh & say "I wonder who has told you that all along?!?" I'm happy that he's liking it so far, he's impressed at the fact that the base is huge, the BX is huge & everything is all indoors together (i.e. the commissary, Stripes, restaurants), & there is a big gym & a smaller gym in his squadron.

To add to the good news, I thought I had 1.5-2 years of school left so last night I was looking at my degree audits & getting ready for Summer/Fall semesters & I can graduate August 2011 at the earliest--about 1 year away =]

After all the worrying about not being able to do this & make this relationship work, for some reason today it doesn't seem that hard...

Looks like our luck MAY actually be turning around for a little bit for once!!!

Hope you ladies are having as fabulous a day as I am!
