Perfect Timing

Hey ladies!
Yesterday was very hard on me. My best friend got married to the love of her life, which makes me extremely happy for her. However, since he is a marine, she is moving to California today to live closer to base. I live on the east coast which makes things really tough for staying connected. I know we'll stay in touch, but it just won't be the same.
Her wedding was perfect. It was gorgeous and she was astonishing. When the time came for the reception to end, I had to say my goodbyes to my best friend, Katelyn.
I hugged her tight and we both began to bawl. It was one of those moments that time freezes and you don't understand how it could possibly move forward when everything will be different.
My soldier is in Fort Leonard Wood right now. Yesterday, I came home with sobbing only to find a letter waiting from my soldier. On the car ride home, I had been cursing the army for taking both of my best friends away during the same summer. I hadn't heard from him in 2 weeks. It was truly perfect timing. Not only did I get a letter, I got a return address!!! =) Finally I can start sending him letters!! =) In his letter, he told me how much he loved me. haha His letter made my day.Last summer he had BCT in Fort Knox and he broke his ankle during the last part of his training.
Unfortunately, he has to repeat BCT since most of the paperwork has been lost in the past year. This means more time away, however, it also means more cash so that we can save our money for an apartment. He talked about this in the letter. He wouldn't stop talking about marriage and how much he wanted to be with me for the rest of his life. I really needed that after yesterday's events.

Army Gfs can get through anything. Can I get a Hooah? =) Love you guys.
