Army Wives!

Okay so this past sunday i saw army wives like i do every sunday!
but right as the show started i busted out crying, because they are deploying and
it just brought back memories of saying goodbye to my soldier!
my friend was watching it with me and she didnt say anything i wish she
did but she didnt i guess it's because she doesnt know what it's like to
have someone you love have to go somewhere so far away and not know
if you are ever going to see them again because everyday is not promised,
i know what our soldiers do is worth the wait because they our truly taking care of us
just like they promised right from the start. i know army wives is just a show
on lifetime but it's not just a show to us it's life!!!
IT'S OUR LIVES.... but the thing about it is we dont complain about it we deal
with it why because we love our soldiers, and we would do anything to have them here
by our sides but they have a job to do as do we there job is to surve our country
and the people living in it our job it to make sure they know they have someone
at home who loves them, cares for them and who is faithful and waiting for them to come home!
and it makes me happy that lifetime has a show about people like us... i might not be a wife yet
but i hope to be one day!
hope everyone is doing fine as well as your soldiers
we are not just strong we are ARMY STRONG!!!!!
Iraq may have my soldier but i KNOW i have his heart<3

Very true! I'm sure we all love Army Wives! We relate to it so easily because we go through the same things and it always helps me feel better. I wish you both the best and your soldiers and I hope they are safe and come home soon :)<br />
Let me know if you need to talk or anything!

I know exactly what you mean! I did the very same thing when I watched it because my boyfriend is leaving today for Germany for 2 years and is deploying from there in 6 months. I think it is hard for other people to imagine what it's like to go through something like that because it is so easy to take it for granted when you are able to see your loved one every day. I know I have certainly learned to cherish our time together and you are so right that it is our duty to make sure that they know even if they are gone, they are never alone because we will always be here supporting them and waiting for them :-)
