    hey:)

my fiance just left to ft.benning the exact same day! so far i have recieved two letters from him but he was in reception so there was no return address on them:/ i have to wait until he writes me from sandhill which could take weeks. he called my the day he got to basic training which was on the 19th but we only got to talk for 1 min and 27 seconds:/ but it was the best phone call ever:) you can really only write letters but make thiem super positive. if something is going wrong dont tell him in the letter unless you really really have to. just reassure him that you are doing good and that you love him and miss him and that you are stil waiting fro him to come home. at benning they only get to call on sundays but it probably wont be till like the 4th or 5th week that they get that privilage. plus it depends on how the drill sergants feel that day:/ maybe my fiance and your boyfriend know eachother or are in the same company:) who knows.Lol. stay storng and positive!keep your self busy or you will go insane!Lol.i miss my fiance like crazy so i know exactly what your going through right now! hope this helped a bit:)

p.s. you cant help who you fall inlove with so just ignore what other people say and follow your heart<3

My soldier was at Fort. Benning last cycle, currently stationed at Fort. Drum, New York and I'm in Los Angeles, California. To be honest right from the beginning, he's not my boyfriend, he is in fact my ex, I still love the guy with all my heart<3 Well, I'm 17, he's 18 and hun let me tell you this, the day he left, Feb. 1st, a chunk of my heart left with him. I didn't get a call from him until around March. Letters also started coming in and that's how we kept in touch. I was still in a relationship but I couldn't handle loving my soldier but being with another guy. Now I'm single, waiting for my boy to get his internet to skype this Saturday. It is going to be sooo hard but hang in there girl, we're here for each other. I hope all these sudden calls, and sweet texts end up with one question, to be his girlfriend once again. I've been waiting for him since the day he broke up with me, February 9th, 2010. I love him, please keep us in your prayers so we can get back together and be one happy couple. You will all be in my prayers every night to keep us strong and be able to help one another. Thank you :)

my boyfriend is at ft. benning as we speak, and for the first two weeks he would get phone privileges every night if there was no trouble on base. but once he arrived at his barracks to begin training he wont have his phone except every sunday he is allowed ten minutes to call. and they arnt set up with an address until they are done with processing which can take anywhere from a week to two weeks.

    hope this helps.

Hey, my soldier went through BCT in November at Ft,Sill OKlahoma, but basic training is basic training an its pretty similar wherever you go. The first few days your soldier is there he will be in Reception and may be able to have his phone, but after that itll probably be at least a few weeks before youll get to hear his, and its best to try not to expect that call, because theres always that one person who screws it up for everyone sadly. As far as getting letters goes your soldier will always be pretty busy and wont have much free time except for Sundays, but the best thing you can do for your soldier is write to him everyday or at least as much as you can. Mail makes all the difference, itll give both of you something to look forward to :-) For his first few weeks they only get their letters once a week, but after that thy get mail call everyday. It's a tough road we girlfriends wives and significant others of military guys go through, but together we can do it. Youll have good days and bad days when you just want to cry and cry, but try your best not to put the bad days or problems your having into your letters, your soldier needs to do his best and put all the focus he can into making it through Basic, distracting him could end up pretty badly :/ and if he ever needs something to brighten his day a little more try putting a little bit of your favorite perfume or his favorite perfume of yours on one of your letters. The guys kind of forget what woman smells like, as my boyfriend put it lol. Anyways I wish you the best, and stay strong, you are your soldier's soldier now, and if you ever need to talk Im here for you :-)

Hey there! My boyfriend has been at Fort Benning since mid May. I can answer your questions the best I can. He won't have is phone at all once he gets there. He will get his phone within 24 hours to call home. I didn't get a letter for at least a week. They are going to be slow at first, but will get more frequent the longer he's there. You can only send him paper things. Like pictures, news articles, sports scores. Stuff like that. Nothing else. My boy has only gotten to call me once since he started training. And when they did get those privileges, some kid tried to sneak his phone back and they lost their phones for a long time...

I hope that helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me! And remember your never alone. We're all here for each other. :)
