Its Hard.

my boyfirend, joe, leaves for basic and AIT on september 17th. i really dont want him to leave. not only will he be gone for 4 months but he told me yesterday that hes going active:[ he'll be home for 24 days and then he gets deployed.... he says he'll write me letters and call me when he can. im so scared for his safety because his job isnt safe at all. Joe is a 13 delta fox. he goes out into the feild to find the enemy. i dont feel comfortable with this at all. i love him so much and hes such a sweet guy. i dont know what im going to do without him...:[ i guess i just need some reassurance that he'll come back home to me safetly. does anyone else have a boyfriend with this job?

    We are all afraid for our soldiers safety but nobody can assure you that he is going to come home safely. The real question is whether or not you can accept that and move on and be happy in your relationship. Don't tell your soldier you don't want him to leave, that will only make it harder on him. Instead, try being proud of him and his choice to follow his passion and fight for his country. ALWAYS stand proudly behind your soldier girls. If you don't like it, don't choose the lifestyle.

    hey! i no wut u feel like my BF is in the army and he jus left for bct in july, actually on my bday!!! so it wuz really hard, but i kept txtn him until he told me that he had to go, :( but he has called me twice during tht week and ive already gotten two letters from him, i still cant write to him though i guess bc he keeps moving around a lot but he told me tht when he gets to somewhere stable we will be able to send him letters so i am actually pretty excited!!! hes active duty as well idk wut all hes goin to be doing we tried not to tlk bout tht alot, but wut i can tell you is tht everything will be alright the worst part is already over, we all have to have faith tht they will all come back home!!!
