My best advice is enjoy the time that you have with him and when he goes away keep yourself busy at all times because that helps you not think about him being gone and that way your mind isn't wondering. It will help you look forward to his graduation instead. That's what helped is each day is a day closer that you will see him again. :D Good luck :D Keep Strong, Army Strong. :D

hi! My boyfriend leaves in October as well! We've been dating for 17 months now. I've had friends go before, and my sister. Take advantage of the time you have together. Make time to bond and reassure one-another. Surround yourself with friends and get involved in activities. Write him frequently when he goes. I know for me, learning new things along with him (what he can disclose and talk about) is always interesting. It helps me feel mor e involved in this process.

Yes! My boyfriend just left July 10. We have been dating for a tear and half! And it is really hard... U look forward to every moment u get I he gets a 5 min phone call!! But if u stay busy and surround uraelf with family and friends you should be ok. But in my experience so far.. It doesn't get any easier.. Everyday is the same day. And u think about him ever day also..

My boyfriend hadn't left for basic yet but many of the women tell me to keep myself really busy because its going to be hard! Not being able to talk to him everyday is going to be hard, but everything does get better. Eventually y'all can start to write eachother, and short phone calls.
