Deployment

My boyfriend of 3 years is getting deployed for his first time in a few months. Here lately it has really hit me hard, and i've been really upset about it. I have never had to go through anything like this before. I know its going to be hard. Any advice on how to keep myself sane while he is gone?

    Keep busy!! whether its work, school, friends... anything. Just don't sit around all the time and think about it. My boyfriend would always refer to it as "work" it made it seem less dangerous. Just be open and try to understand this is even harder on them than it is for us. Good luck!
