How Do You Do It?

Ok so the guy that I say I am dating is amazing. We aren' t technically boyfriend/girlfriend because I have only known him for 2 months now and he is deploying in less then a month to iraq for a year. He says that he doesn't want to ask me to wait and that he wants me to have a good time and live my life while he is gone. but how? How do I do that when he has touched my heart like he has already?

I barely see him and yet I feel like Ive known him forever. he really is the sweetest guy I have ever met. I can go on all the dates I want and nothing will ever compare to him. he is everything I have ever dreamed about and more. So how do i get through this year knowing all of this?

    i too am new to the whole being away from someone you know deep down u at least care about... so i don't have much advice except that if you know you want him... go for him... yes live your life but don't worry about anyone's feelings but your own because if you're not happy, its impossible to make anyone else feel happy!

    a year isnt a long time in the grand scheme of things. It would be unfair for him to ask you to wait so go ahead and enjoy the year, whose to say there cant be romance when hes back. Dont forget to send him letters , it'll prove your thinking of him and wen u get them back him of you.
