Ssg Besaw / Update

Hello Ladies,

Things have been busy but just wanted to give and update...

16 yrs ago today, I met paul, he was in basic training @ the time, well today we got married, while he is in the hospital fighting for his life, 3 months ago he was shot severall times while on convoy in AFG. I love this man with all my heart, we have 2 boys, 14 & 12, we have been all over the world, and definatley we have had our ups and downs.

I wanted to share a few things with you all, as I read your stories, military life is hard, there are no promises, because they were meant to be broken, I learned that the hard way. If the army wanted you to have a spouse, they would have issued them one, that's why you need to work extra hard! We have had money problems, infidelity and anger, but in the end, if your willing to give 100% it will all work out, Never sweat the small stuff, and I cherish every moment I have. Men like PAUL is what makes our country great.... If any of you need anything, you know where to find me... xox-Wendy

wow i respect you for sticking by your man all this time. My boyfriend is in Afghanistan right now. and it's our first deployment experience. You seem like the kind of person that has a lot of advice and experience. I might be messaging you sometime if you don't mind.

Congrats! I am sorry Paul is still not doing well. We all have been praying and will continue to do so well beyond him being all healed and home in your arms again! Wendy, you are one of the strongest people I know. I know we've never really talked but you inspire me to be a better Army wife. Your stories have taught me to never take ANYTHING for granted. I know this life is hard...but it is people like you who give me hope that I can do this. I just wanted to thank you for all you have done for me without even knowing it. Thank you.
