Almost In To The Teens.

So its about 20 days now until my soldiers graduation. And the days are dragging along more than ever. But today I had thought about something that really made me appreciate this experience even more. I have, well i wouldn't really call them true friends, just people to keep me busy when i have days off, but they have just recently made me see that my soldier is the only person i can truly, honestly trust. And just because i came to this realization, it makes him more important to me than ever. But only this proecess can make me see that. Most people wouldn't appreciate significant others as an army wife, girlfriend, or fiance would. Absence and distance makes the heart grow fonder and stronger. <3

Totally agree with ya on this one!! I wouldn't trade that feeling for anything :)

I have to agree with that. So many things I took for granted while he was here I already miss so much. It's a good perspective to have though. Just the other day I was thinking about how amazing it was to feel that crazy, head over heels, birds singing in love feeling. I mean, I always love him, but over time it becomes comfortable, effortless. There's really something about their absense that makes that fire burn brighter!
