My boyfriend and i have been dating for a little over 2 months now (I know, not very long) but when you meet the right person, you just know. He's going into Intelligence so luckily he won't be fighting. He left yesterday for basic in Ft. Leonard Wood. I'm used to having him over at my house everyday and now all of a sudden he's gone. Poof! Just like that. He's there for 9 weeks and then has AIT in Texas for 27 weeks!!! 27 weeks!! It's crazy. I know we'll make it through everything, it's just hard. Any of you that have had your boyfriend/husband go to Ft. Leonard Wood for basic, do they get to use the phone? And if so, how often?
