I've been vegetarian for about 8 years now. Started out because of animal rights. It may seem kind of silly, but it was actually songs from some of my favorite punk bands when I was younger that first turned me onto the idea of cutting meat out of my diet. I think vegetarianism is a great lifestyle, and it's nice to see that the numbers are growing.

    Well, Peanutter, I understand about PETA. They definately go over board a lot of the time and, yes, they are very hard on people who can't seem to go 100% Vegan. I used to be in an animal rights goup here in the city of Wichita and they were no different. They were very hard on you if you didn't go 100% Vegan. And they would also go overboard soemtimes. But I learned a lot from those groups and am have done fairly well at staying vegetarian. I do not regret it one bit. It is definately the way to go.
