It is hard to imagine myself before I became a vegetarian. The thought of eating a ground up cow today is so disgusting and absurd, I wonder how I ever could have believed otherwise. Since making the decision ten years ago to become a vegetarian, I have been happier and more at peace with myself than ever before. I used to feel guilty every time I ate a hamburger or piece of chicken. I feel that my belief in vegetarianism has evolved over time and has been influenced by the movies I watched, the pets I have known, and my sister. Now I have a clear conscience when I eat because I know I haven't caused any animal needless pain and suffering.

My wife is a vegetarian. I know since meeting her I have used less meat in my diet and increased the number of vegetables I eat. I have learned a lot about preparing vegetarian meals since I do the majority of the cooking in our house. We do more and more green juices and have started eating raw meals. I feel so much better.

Good for you! I've been a vegetarian for 8 years and I would never go back!

I've started to cut way down on the meat i's bothering me way too much to keep eating it
