    I really don't like tempeh. Has a weird texture and taste to me. Not very meat like in my opinion. I'd stick with some tofu or seitan. Seitan is a bit more chewy than tofu, but I like tofu in chinese dishes where it can get friend and harder/squishy at the same time. Love chinese dishes with fried tofu! Try some sometime.

    You can try either firm or extra firm tofu, many people prefer those over the silken type. Try not to consume too much soy though, there have been some concerns reported about the phyto estrogens and men

    Just remember soy is kind of hard to digest.

    I have been a vegetarian for 5 years now and I can honestly say Soy products and tofu are your two best bets
