I Fidget Too Much

I desperately try not to fidget so much but I do. I think a big part of it is that I grew up in a house where my mom would yell at random. She's probably bipolar. Anyway, she has a low pain tolerance and very powerful lungs. I would often hide under bed after locking the doors (there were two I had to lock). I hate loud noises. I jump. I am fortunate to have a husband that doesn't yell. This could be a big  part of why I don't want any kids of my own. There are many times when I can sit still and just relax. Usually its when I am alone, but even them I'm usually fidgeting. Maybe that's why I am here so much.. typing away so much...keeping my hands busy.

there have been studies that sitting, just sittting is horrible for your health. however if you "fidget" that gets rid of the problem, because you're actually moving.
do you want kids? you could always bring them up to be quiet. you could also adopt a child who cannot talk or hear.
why are you so nervouse if your husband doesn't yell?

I'm a fidgeter too. Ever since I was a little kid shaking my leg in church. I've read that fidgeting is bad for interviews and dates. That it makes it obvious to the other person that you are nervous (not confident). Oh well, I've always been that way and I try to control it but anytime I'm not thinking about it, I'm twitching in some way. Damn nervousness.
