I Am a Very Tall Woman
I am 6'1 and athletic, with a big bone frame from both of my parents sides. There are things i don't like a bout me, but one thing i love is my height. I a not a model type, but let me tell you id rather be me then medias fantasy's.
I am was always taller than everyone as a kid, even some teachers. I can tell you the boys hated it. I got teased, yes, but i don't hate my height. I am in high-school now, and still taller than the majority of the school. It can be fun at times, and also hell. There are some who stay away because they think your "scary", people don't really make fun of you directly, then there are the few who make fun of you because they have low self esteem and haha, most of them were short guys who did that.
I Hit puberty early. I started changing when I was about 8/9, instead of 9-11ish. Let me tell you something, clothes shopping can be depressing and hell at times. Me being a big boned tall person, no matter what I do I am always going to be a "plus" size. Im not fat, I actually lost 90 lbs, im just tall, and im me. Its my genetics. But with the clothes you have to shop bigger sizes, but I always remind myself your tall, you look great, so what? rock the shorts! Who cares about your size, or cellulite? your human.
Shoe shopping is horrid. I have to order from (laughably) exotic dancer shoes, which don't look bad is just hilarious because most of the "tall women" shoe sites have ugly shoes XD Also skirts are hell. A miniskirt becomes underwear XD
You have a different perspective on life literally. People think your older so they treat you like your older. You see the world taller literally, so your perspective is from looking down, and its different trust me.
Tall girls love your body, and trust me men like tall tall women. As i get many times, most men dont see tall women, so its a fantasy for them in a way. Take this the right way to. You also dont get direct male attention sometimes, because of intimidation, but on the other hand there are some men who cant keep there eyes off of you (:
