I am not a beginner at this whole video editing scene but I am certainly no expert. I am going to Colorado Film School to major in post production. We use Final Cut Pro 10 and Avid. I've use Adobe Premier and Sony Vegas in the past. I hear a lot of people saying that final cut 7 is better than 10. I will agree in certain aspects; however, 10 has had several updates and has become very powerful so I will never use 7.
