I Am a Virgo

True To My Sign!

People find Virgo's to be pedantic, finnicky, strong willed and perfectionists. I am so true to my sign and i find myself being stuck on an issue until i conquer it, feel as though i have gotten my point across or achieved my goal within the issue at hand. I tend to be very much of a perfectionist and i wont tackle something if i feel as though i cant give one hundred percent. I fixate on little things that other people seem to let pass without question or even acknowledgement yet i seem to pick life apart until i understand every angle of a situation. I feel as though i read into things too much and i pull "what if's" where it may not even be relevant or necessary! When people say things in passing i delve into the words and take it too personally and may assume they mean something entirely differently than what they intended to portray. I often wonder if every one else has the same problem with conversation as i do, and i often think about what wasnt said rather than what was actually said. Within debates with friends or people online as far as having opinions about certain issues i notice that i keep reiterating my point, not to change peoples minds but to ascertain whether they understand and acknowledge that my opinion is a valid one, as i feel as though i offer my acceptance and definitely let them know that i understand their view even if i dont particularly agree with it.
Cleaning is a big thing for me, i always like things to be 'just so' and in a logical place or in a logical order according to my perception. Does this apply to a lot of people or does it mainly haunt other Virgos!? I am very funny about people putting things away out of order, I am starting to think i have OCD rather than suffer from Virgo-ism! I am keen to hear from other Virgos and i wonder if you are as picky i may be and as much of a pain in the butt perfectionist... In a nice way :)
My story here is more of a lighthearted dig, its not meant to offend anyone as i realise everyones different but i do wonder how many Virgos seem to have similar traits.

    i am a typical Virgo,i like to look at everything, then look at all the facts,then know ,i think i can do that better,trouble is when i say so people will think just being a big head,but like all Virgo's, we feel ,we have to teach people,a better way of doing things, we seem to see things that are very clear to us,but other people do not seem to see it the same way.

    It's not ocd just a typical normal fastidious virgo,do you find yourself exhausted "planning" everything you want and need to do,i never seem to unwind and enjoy because there is always something else to clean,move,decorate .........do!I too won't waste my time on a "bodge"if it's going to be done it's properly or not at all.The sink is always empty,dishes away,everything in it's place,i see it as being organised,not doing things twice,having to move something everytime i want to get to something else.Like you i also pick up on the "little"things in what people say and am reguarly told i'm reading into things and taking them out of context where as i feel i am just understanding what they said.Virgo's are about making time for love but so often this is not reciprocated or acknowledged that's the part that hurts.Just a normal virgo x
