Merry Meet Beastlyman,
Many Wiccans are recovering Christians. Wicca is best taught in person, however some good books can help you understand what its all about. There is a pretty good reading list for serious students on line here: http://www.oldways.org/readinglist.htm The first book listed should be read by anyone in your position. "The Heart of Wicca: Wise Words from a Crone on the Path" by Ellen Cannon Reed. It is good to remember that Wicca is a religion, not a left wing political action group nor a way to cast evil spells on your neighbors.

You can also find good information on a web site called witchvox.com. They have listings of Wiccan elders, teachers, and groups sorted by location. There are some good contacts listed for almost any location.

May the Lord and Lady guide your path.
