I Am a Writer
Hi all!
I am 88 years of age this March, and for some reason unknown to me, I never started writing until I was 70
Yep, I was an old man, and all I did after retirement was to sit on the front verander and watch the girls
go by. At that age, it was totally unproductive, and bored to tears, I wrote to the editor of our local newspaper.
My words were well received by the general public, and I wrote a few more letters....Eventually, the Editor called
me on the phone since he would like to chat.
Well, he offered me a job. My own column called "Off the cuff." It ran six years every week a story...
Since then I have published two full length novels, written hundreds of short stories and many many poems.
Don`t ever give up! I am still writing excellent copy and I have published them all over the world via Internet.
I just can`t stop
